The Practical Software Measurement Working Group released draft Version 2.0 of "Practical Software Measurement - A Guide to Objective Program Insight," dated 26 January 1996. The draft guide is currently under review by the Joint Logistics Commanders Joint Group on Systems Engineering functional working group on metrics headed by Jack McGarry of the Naval Underwater Warfare Center (NUWC). Products that are on the horizon include: Technical Guidance, a Measurement Workstation, and a Training Curriculum (one day and three day courses). Jack McGarry and Dave Card (Software Productivity Solutions) gave tutorials on the PSM at the Software Technology Conference on 22 April 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
