Open Architecture Systems for Process Automation
.... a user's perspective
The OASYS toolset for process automation is used for the rapid development and
low cost maintenance of workflow process systems. If running under a modern
presentation manager, such as Motif or Windows 3.x, the user operates
pop-up/pull-down menus with a mouse. Under the ASCII [VT100] version, which is
still the most common interface found in government, the user activates
functions and menu selections by pressing function keys. The OASYS Tracker
software dynamically adjusts the function keys called out on the screen to best
suit the user's terminal equipment.
- Customized Menus
- Customized Work Lists
The set of functions available to each user from work queues is controlled by the user's access tokens. The distribution of access tokens is controlled by a system of distribution administration. Examples of common functions available from the work queues of all users are as follows:
- Routing Functions
- Auditing Functions
- Forms Library
- Routing History
- Forms Recorded
